Product Overview

Acrylic Interior Primer from OnePlus Spark Paints is a specially formulated water-based acrylic primer developed to prepare interior wall surfaces before applying decorative paints. It penetrates the surface and creates a strong bond between the wall and the topcoat paint.

The primer provides uniform absorption, improves paint adhesion and enhances the durability of interior emulsion paints. It is suitable for residential homes, commercial buildings, offices and institutional interiors.

Recommended Surfaces

Acrylic Interior Primer can be applied on:

• Cement plaster walls
• Concrete surfaces
• Brick masonry
• Putty finished walls
• Gypsum boards
• Asbestos sheets
• Fiber boards

Surface Preparation

Proper surface preparation ensures maximum performance.

• Surface must be clean and dry
• Remove dust, grease and loose particles
• Scrape off old flaking paint
• Repair cracks and damaged areas with suitable wall putty
• Ensure surface is completely dry before application

Thinning / Dilution

Dilution with clean water is recommended.

Water dilution: 40–50% depending on application method and surface condition.

Number of Coats

1 coat of Acrylic Interior Primer is recommended before applying interior emulsion paint.

For porous surfaces two coats may be required.

Coverage

Approximate coverage:

120 – 150 sq.ft per litre per coat
